LABIS: Banjir di Johor meragut dua nyawa, kedua-duanya wanita dengan 28,900 mangsa dipindahkan di 192 pusat pemindahan di seluruh negeri sehingga 8 pagi tadi.

Menteri Besar, Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman, berkata mangsa yang terkorban dari Kampung Rahmat, Kulai dan Kampung Chaah, Segamat.

Beliau berkata, mangsa yang dipindahkan itu adalah terdiri daripada 6,854 keluarga.

“Segamat, Johor Bahru dan Kluang kini adalah daerah yang paling teruk dilanda banjir dan hujan dijangka berterusan sehingga esok,” katanya pada sidang media di sini, hari ini.

Sementara itu, semua hubungan ke Daerah Segamat kini lumpuh manakala laluan ke Muar, Johor Bahru dan Kuala Lumpur di kedua-dua hala turut ditenggelami air.

Laluan ke Pekan Labis yang semalam dinaiki air kini sudah surut tetapi kawasan pinggir daerah itu masih digenangi air.
